First, you need to degrease your eyelids to ensure the false eyelashes adhere well. Use a makeup remover to wipe your eyes. The false eyelashes might be too wide for your eyes, so you should try them on beforehand. Use tweezers to hold the eyelashes and place them as close as possible to the base of your natural lashes. Trim them if they are too wide or much longer than your own lashes. Squeeze a small strip of glue onto your palm and run the lash strip through it. Wait a few seconds for the glue to thicken. Hold the eyelashes in the middle with tweezers and place them close to the base of your natural lashes. Start pressing the false lashes from the outer corner of the eye to the inner corner, holding the ends with your fingers. Use a toothpick to press down along the base for better adherence. Apply eyeliner or a black pencil along the upper eyelid at the base of the lashes, slightly extending beyond the movable eyelid. This technique will help conceal minor imperfections (glue residues).
