This fragrance has quite a storied history. Back in 1905, the legendary perfume bottle designer René Lalique met the equally legendary François Coty. It was Coty’s creation, the Chypre fragrance, that served as the inspiration for the scent currently presented to you. Naturally, the rich nature of Provence also provided a significant impetus for the creation of this perfume. It was there that Monsieur Lalique lived.
The modern version of the fragrance was crafted by Julie Massé. This eau de parfum belongs to the aromatic woody family.
