This prolongs the lifespan of the socks and prevents odors and discoloration. The insecticide is lethal to mosquitoes and other insects. Ticks cannot sit or walk on it. Bugsox prevents up to 90% of insect bites! Permethrin is non-irritating to the skin and fully biodegradable. Use a chlorine-free detergent and store the socks in a dark place.

The treated Care Plus socks are made from bamboo viscose, which helps keep the socks fresh and odor-free for longer. Bugsox Adventure includes Coolmax®, a specially designed polyester fiber that makes the socks moisture-regulating and quick-drying. Coolmax® absorbs moisture from the skin and transfers it to the outer layer of the sock, where it can evaporate. Keep your feet dry and fresh with Bugsox Adventure! These treated socks are perfect for walks or hikes and are ideal sports socks. No more damp, sweaty socks! Bugsox Adventure is made from 40% Coolmax Active polyester, 35% bamboo viscose, 20% polyamide, and 5% elastane. Bugsox Traveler does not contain Coolmax and is slightly thinner than the Adventure socks. Perfect for walks when you want to protect your ankles from ticks.
